Dr. Hamdy is an internationally-recognized expert in diabetes and weight management with more than 35 years of clinical experience. In addition to being our Chairman, Dr. Hamdy is also the Medical Director of the Obesity Clinical Program at Joslin Diabetes Center and Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Hamdy founded several successful programs for weight management with long lasting effects.
His research on the impact of long-term weight loss on cardiovascular risk won him and his team the Michaela Modan Award of the American Diabetes Association. He is the author of Harvard Health Publication best seller “The Diabetes Breakthrough”.
Growing up in family that was profoundly hurt by diabetes and obesity, Dr. Hamdy has a driving passion for bringing life-changing treatment to as many people as he can.
Seavey brings decades of experience in Product and Project application development, technical operations, innovation, and management to the team at Healthimation. Seavey’s eight years with Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment spans countless genres including massive online worlds, popular kids’ games, and free-to-play mobile games based on internationally-celebrated brands. It was at Warner Brothers where Seavey learned industry best practices for engaging and retaining users.
Seavey’s deep understanding of complex video game development helps the Healthimation team to design truly engaging experiences that will bring enjoyment and entertainment to living healthy and avoiding child obesity, type-2 diabetes, and other nutrition-related illnesses.
Mark is the mad, creative genius behind the team of artists and animators that bring Lena and the rest of our amazing graphics to life. With over 30 years of digital art production, computer graphics engineering, and management experience, he is no stranger to pushing the limits of art and animation. Mark comes to Healthimation from Warner Brothers where he was a Director in the Creative Studio and, prior to that, held numerous art and creative leadership roles including being a founder and/or principal in many visual effects and gaming startups.
Always the one to look at problems in a whole new perspective, Mark comes armed with his irrepressible sense of humor and determination to take on our biggest challenges.
Alana brings more than 10 years of experience in all areas of public relations, marketing and brand communication. She has oversight of all Healthimation communications, messaging, marketing strategy and execution. Prior to joining Healthimation, Alana has worked on some of the world’s most engaging brands including, Threadless.com, Canada Goose Outerwear, Lifefactory, Campari America & Mary’s Gone Crackers.

Dr. Mady brings over 12 years of experience in healthcare business, research and technology management for care management, hospital, pharmaceutical and medical device companies. Prior to joining Healthimation, Dr. Mady worked as a Senior Healthcare consultant at Navigant, Inc where he was involved in numerous life science/ healthcare projects in pharmaceutical, med-tech and biotech spaces. He worked closely with clients to address critical commercial strategies ranging from product, market and portfolio assessments, due diligence, to launch and commercialization planning and value proposition development.
In addition to his business expertise, Dr. Mady has experience conducting basic science and translational research for several years at the Cardiovascular Research Center at Harvard Medical School/ Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. His laboratory/clinical research is focused on stem cell applications in Heart diseases and Diabetes, where he investigated differentiation of stem cells/ iPSC into mature heart cells and pancreatic beta cells, and created human tissue engineering models.
